Technical Manual HE660

Main Index

If the device at any time receives thru it's serial port byte 27 or ASCII character ' Esc ' escape, it will clear program control byte in the internal working registers, break out of any operation loop and enter idle routine marked a. in the flowchart.

CAUTION: If two or more devices are setup so that termination byte of device ' A' is the primary address of device ' B' and vice versa, it will be necessary to reset the whole system.

The Get Object Position Module

The flowchart on the right is a more detailed illustration of Task b. The device can be setup, such that no sonic signal is emitted, in this case the device will listen for echo from another device's signal emission. Position of closest object is stored. If bit.5 of program control byte is set the devices output pin white wire is setup as PWM output, otherwise it behaves as a proximity alarm with hysteresis.
