The HE66X Block Diagram

The illustration on the right shows the internal block structure of the HE66X units. The signal from the sensor is conditioned using an amplifier and a second order band pass filter. The output driver is a push pull type utilizing passive boost. Data is coupled via RS485 conditioner to the network.

Important: The HE66X is extremely sensitive, while connected to a computer ungrounded switcher power supplies from laptops and desktop can disturb the HE66X. In case of trouble make sure any device connected to the HE66X is well grounded. Laptops, palmtops or devices running on batteries do not disturb the unit while connected.
The communication parameters for the HE66XP485 version are
19200 baud, 8 bit, 1 stop bit, no parity. No Xon/Xoff handshaking

HE660 Enclosures PVC, IP68 compliant. Shape cylindrical Size 0.8" dia, 6" long
